As Palmira Global Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Palmira Global" or the "Company"), acting as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), we process the personal data collected through palmiraglobal.com (the "Site") and our related communication channels within the framework described below.

- Transaction data: quote requests, quotations, order and shipment details, appointment requests, your messages and notes.
- Account and security data: account details, hashed password, last login time, IP address, consent records.
- Marketing: commercial electronic communication consent and preferences.
- Cookie and usage data: statistical data on Site usage (via Google Analytics; see the Cookie Policy for details).
3. Purposes of Processing

- Receiving quote requests and preparing and sending quotations,
- Carrying out sales, contract, order, export, customs, logistics and shipment processes,
- Scheduling appointments and meetings,
- Responding to requests, questions and complaints; communicating by e-mail, phone and WhatsApp,
- Invoicing and accounting, and fulfilling our legal obligations,
- Ensuring information and transaction security, and using records as evidence in legal disputes,
- Sending commercial electronic messages about products, offers and announcements, where you have consented,
- Measuring Site performance and improving user experience.
4. Legal Grounds
Your personal data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the following legal grounds:
- processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c),
- processing is necessary for compliance with the data controller's legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç),
- processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5/2-e),
- processing is necessary for the data controller's legitimate interests, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed (Art. 5/2-f).
Commercial electronic messages and non-essential cookies are based on your explicit consent (Art. 5/1).
5. Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected electronically, partly or fully by automated means, through the membership, quote, quote cart and appointment forms on the Site, through e-mail, phone and WhatsApp correspondence, and through cookies.
6. Transfer of Personal Data
Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be transferred to:
- business partners providing logistics, freight, customs brokerage and insurance services,
- hosting, e-mail, IT and analytics service providers,
- accounting, financial advisory and legal advisors,
- authorised public institutions and organisations upon request.
International transfers: Because of our export activities, quotation and order data may be shared with buyers, carriers and parties involved in customs processes outside Türkiye, as well as with the servers of service providers such as Google Analytics (Google LLC) used for Site analytics. Such transfers are carried out in accordance with the conditions and procedures set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.
7. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for as long as required by the purpose of processing and for the statutory retention periods set out in applicable legislation (e.g. 10 years under the Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedure Law). At the end of that period it is erased, destroyed or anonymised.
8. Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
As a data subject, you have the right to apply to the Company to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information if it has been processed,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- request erasure or destruction of your data under Article 7 of the KVKK,
- request that third parties to whom your data was transferred be notified of such correction, erasure or destruction,
- object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
- claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
9. How to Apply
You may submit requests regarding your rights, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller:
- in person or through a notary, with a signed letter sent to Hürriyet Mahallesi, Mimarsinan Caddesi No: 34/5, Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, Türkiye,
- by e-mail to info@palmiraglobal.com from the e-mail address registered in our system.
Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on their nature. If the action requires an additional cost, the fee schedule set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
